A bolt on PLENUM can be added for trapping of VOC or sub-micron harmful dust. It can contain a .3 @ 99.97% eff HEPA, or a 38 lbs. activated carbon cell for VOC. These PLENUMS and accessories can be added in the field to older CORAL units. Just give us a call with the model number and we will match up the correct PLENUM to your dust collector.
These PLENUMS are useful for reducing noise, VOC and ODORS, and toxic dusts. Very effective for keeping VOC and burned odors out of work areas.

Cutting braided rubber hose creates odors in office areas
If you work in an office area adjacent to a production area, the odors and VOC from both are shared via the HVAC returns. It is inevitable that burned smell will be embedded in everything.
The way to eliminate this is to attach an exhaust plenum to the outlet of your dust collector. For most portable single arm and dual arm dust extractors, a single 38 lbs. of activated carbon will neutralize burned rubber order at the source.
